Carputer
So I finally stopped being lazy and took some pictures of my interior. Sorry they're kinda crappy, I'm lazy and can't find my other camera so I used the iPhone. I just installed an AEM Boost and AEM Wideband. Both are the digital/analog gauges. On the right is my CarPC. It is currently using a Single DIN flip out touchscreen monitor that was taken out of my old Ralliart. I'll eventually replace it with a Double DIN touchscreen monitor.
As you can see, I'm using Windows XP.
The front end software is called Centrafuse.
I've got the Tactrix hooked up to the laptop and used it to log during my track day a few weekends ago.

Just installed a USB port next to the cup holders.
Here is the mess under my driver's seat. I unscrewed the seat and lifted it up a bit to take this picture.

- The silver box in the upper left is the Carnetix power supply that turns off and on automatically when the car is started.
- The black box next to the power supply is the XM radio module.
- Bottom left is the laptop. I can usually get them for pretty cheap which is why I prefer using laptops.
- Bottom middle is a Create USB sound card. Needed more inputs than the onboard could provide.
- The silver box on the bottom right is a USB hub. GPS, XM, Tactrix, touchscreen, etc are all connected to here.

Nice! I have been wanting to do this since I have 2 laptops laying around. I have one with a broken screen and it would be perfect but I can't justify spending 300+ for a in dash touchscreen.
