I think these things would be great for hooning around in during MI winters/open fields. .
I had a rock/ice chunk/meteor/****ing asteroid bounce up on the freeway last winter heading up to Traverse City and it shattered part of the plastic underbody cover. I loved the sound of a broken plastic flapping around in the wind @ freeway speeds. It has since been replaced, but I'd be more confident if I had a sheet of aluminum down there. I'll have to do some investigating .
