Question MR Bilstein Struts/Shocks in a 03

I'm contemplating a change to MR Bilsteins in my 03 evo. Has anyone tried this combo yet? If so what have you noticed from oem.

I'm curious about this myself.

A more compliant ride with better handling?

Have we concluded whether or not the springs would need to be changed out as well?

Yes, you take a Chevy Aveo springs and slap them on the Evo with Bilsteins and it's all cool.

You could buy a set of coilovers for the price of the MR Blistiens. Actually....a really nice set of coilovers for almost the 2 grand you'll spend on MR suspension parts.

The Bilsteins have already come out of our MR in favor of the WORKS/Ohlins and WORKS/ZEALS.
They ride better than the previous stock suspension but spring selection is always tricky on a non-adjustable shock. You have to match them together to be effective. For example, our WORKS Ride springs which are well suited for the stock KYB shocks may not work well for the Bilsteins. We need to put them on the shock dyno and measure them.

I can attest to the softer ride of the MR. While not soft by luxory car standards, for a performance car it is amazing...
