At the moment we have about 12 cars confirmed with about 20 more cars interested in coming. The list grows everyday. Almost all the big names cars/teams will be showing. Things should be more finalized within the next week or so. We have put the final touches on the classes and some other info. Look for an updated post with more information in the next few days.
On another note. If you are an experienced road course driver with an evo that you would like to enter the competition with but are not affilated with a business, please email me at cjuckett@boostlabs.com.
I guess I should also mention since most people here do not know me, I work with Ali and am the coordinator for the tuner shootout. I look forward to seeing you all there and its going to be a great event!

Hey guys,
Jon here with SeatTime, along with driving the AMS Evo in the shootout portion, I am handling the HPDE portion of the event.
I want to encourage people to sign up, we have a list of instructors forming including SCCA championship contenders, and I want to make sure we get HPDE entrants in in time to get good pairings.
I promise this is going to be a blast of an HPDE, my dad is going to be the "chief steward" so to speak, and he makes sure everyone gets good amounts of time at the normal SeatTime events, and this will be no different.
As a track, Carolina Motorsports Park is a blast. It has a mix of corners, with the slowest being a 45mph 190' right, and the fastest being a 114mph kink (stock Evo data) In between are corners of various speeds including a 70-mph banked right-hander. There will be spots of very hard braking, places where you will need all of your acceleration, and even more spots where ballancing your car on the edge of its cornering limits will get the heart rate and tire-temps up.
The day will start with a classroom session to help you with the basics, and take some of the edge off those first track sessions. Instructors will be in the cars with you if you haven't done it before or have limited experience, and passing zones will be limited and passes will be done by point-by only so that safety is put at a premium, and a minimum of risk will be on the cars we value so much.
I am looking forward to seeing lots of people out there, and looking forward to a great event with a lot of great people and cars.
