STRI gauges - input needed
Ive been shopping for some gauges for the evo and while I'd like to just pick up some defi's, its really hard to justify the price. When looking at alternatives, the STRI gauges struck me as being very appealing visually and nice and bright, but I am concerned with the quality and accuracy of them, as I could not find very much data at all about them through searching, especially in terms of accuracy and reliability. I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience with these gauges and what you guys think, thanks.

I havent even heard of that brand. A quick search reveals: Noone uses em! Although you can PM CVR Motorsports as he was selling a few STRI gauges.
Otherwise, plenty others. Blitz, HKS, Omori, VDO, and Stewart Performance, to name a few.

The reason there isn't much on this forum about them is because this brand is relatively new. Especially in the Evo community. They've been around for a little bit in the WRX/STI world.
I have the boost gauge and it's fairly accurate. I didn't have a different gauge to compare it against, but I would say these are accurate within one PSI up/down.

My friend has the Stri Xlines in his STI. Look to be a pretty nice gauge, not sure on accuracy. My only complaint was the hard visibility in daylight, similar to the prosports in that aspect.

i drove to vegas and parked my car in a hotel parking lot, it worked when i got there. after parking my car there for 5 days. when i start my car, and the gauge stopped working. it will light on and everything but it will just turn the back lighting off and the needle starts flashing. i took a look at the manual when i got back home, it say's to check the boost sensor, i did that and even rewire everything but still no luck .
