ECU Flash on 2010 Ralliart Sportback.

Hey guys,

I hooked up the tactrix 2.0 cable, and fired up ECU Flash and did the "Read from ECU"

After pulling the ROM from my ECU it says "Unknown ROM image" and says there are no definitions for it. I saved the ROM, but I can not look at it or manipulate it without definitions...

If I try to open the ROM in ECU Flash I get the "Use wizard to create a new definition (NOT RECOMMENDED!!! FOR DEVELOPERS ONLY)" message.

WTF do I do now?

Wait till someone makes a definition file for you ROM. or make it your self.

Its because its 2010 and they (ECUflash & ECU gurus) havent made definition files for the new ROM ids.

You can post up the ROM .bin/.hex file and someone can probably give you a definition for it

Good idea! Here is the ROM... or were you talking about posting it somewhere else?

Hmmm, can't post it... invalid file type.

XML is a definition file used by EcuFlash, and that defines which ECU parameters are stored at which memory addresses in the ECU's flash memory.

In laymens terms, it makes it so you can see the tables in the ECU ROM file and values in those tables, so you can edit them using ECUflash.

And I would copy and past this XML file into one of the folders in the ECU flash directory?

Ok here you go.

Need somebody, hopefully tephra, to find mode23 and airflow/torque disablers but everything else is pretty much there:

base XML file:

http://norcalmotorsports.org/users/b...lliartbase.zip

Put this in:

\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo

55590006 XML:

http://norcalmotorsports.org/users/b...l/55590006.zip

Put this in:

\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo

2010 Lancer ralliart Rom - 55590006

http://norcalmotorsports.org/users/b...M_55590006.zip
