Help: s.d. and iat calibration and set-up
Ok so im pulling my hair out with all the reading I have done. I have my car running really well with 94170015 and the s.d. patch and I have my iat temp input to the fuel temp sensor. The problem I am having is I cant find the definitive answer to a few questions.
1. My "SD MAT scaling for iat scaling" has no values in the r.h. column for the temp.
I dont know what to make of that. It also will not allow me to adjust the r.h. column to even try input values from a different s.d. rom.
2. I dont know if my ecu is reading iat. correctly. I have tried a few different ways to log iat and im confused on how I am suppose to be doing this.
I added this to my evoscan to try and log mat.
<DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="Manifold Air Temp" LogReference="MAT" RequestID="09" Eval="1.8*x-40" Unit="deg F" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="-40" GaugeMax="300" ChartMin="-40" ChartMax="300" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" />
But all it reads is like 200+ degrees. The weird thing is that if I log "air temperature" in evoscan the temps seems to be about what they should be. And if I disconnect my gm iat I get a cel and the "air temperature" goes to -88.
Any input would be great guys!

I am using these setting for the voltage for the GM IAT sensor. (Also make sure you are developer mode, it looks like you are but I would double check) Also are you using OE for the fuel temp acd?

Im under devloper and can not edit the r.h. side for some reason. No adjustments will show up and no numbers can be put in. And yes I have the fuel temp acd set to 0E. An ideas why it wont allow the r.h. side to be edited on the iat scaling?

I just downloaded a fresh copy 9417 SD from the V7 thread and I was able to edit the values of both sides of the scalings. Are you running a pre-patched rom or one that you patched yourself?
