Blew up with AEM? Anyone else.......

Blew up with AEM? Anyone else.......
Just curious as to how many out there have blown up with their AEM ems. I just grenaded about 3 weeks ago, I know metaphysical blew up a while back, chinaflr also. I know about 2 others besides us that blew up also, but am not sure if they want their names posted, so I'll respect that and wait and see if they respond.
Guys, you know who you are, you know who did your tune, and you've gone thru the same crap I'm going through.........so if there are any others out there I'd like you to contact me just for reference, dont worry I'm doing this just for my own personal comparison to make sure I am 100% certain that this Dude caused my motor to grenade.
The Buschurs have offered to help me out in getting the 4BANGR up and running, I just have to come up with some more cash to fork over for an entire motor, and then start all over again from scratch with strictly Buschur parts, and Buschur tuning...........Thanks David!! as always GOD BLESS

You know what? If all of you guys share the same shop in common, it NEEDS to be exposed here in these forums. You'll be doing the Evo community a GREAT SERVICE by letting us know and helping us avoid this shop (assuming they're still in business).

I agree, and believe me I would love to. But unfortunately people will always defend their preferred shop no matter what. Just look at the Dynoflash vs Vishnu trash talk since day one. People will choose to believe or not and that is fine too, but like I said there are several of us out there already like myself who have gotten screwed royally.
People can choose whoever they want to, that is there choice, but the obvious choice should be a tried and true DSM shop with the experience and reputation to back them up.....
And I dont just mean having a super high horsepower, or the fastest car out there. I am talkin about someone who has been doing this from day one, and thats ALL they do like Buschur Racing.
These guys are real down to earth, straightforward, no nonsense type of guys who build RELIABLE, true street cars that are making useable streetable power tunes in them with all the safety margins intact and do not compromise just to say they make the most horsepower for over 15 years now. And I know that for a fact, I've dealt with them for close to 10 years and know they would not just sell you hype.........take it as you wish, but like I said you have a legitimate gripe like I do.........PM me and we'll talk..........thanks propellerhead..........I'm trying to keep this in a mature manner.........

I definitely do not want to start a whole flame war here, I am not like that at all. You can choose to pm me privately, that is actually what I PREFER.
But something has got to be done here, so far everysingle person who I've spoken with that blew up, did so because of the same reason. And I have been in the DSM community for over 10 years, have had several 11 sec. street DSMs, from VPC/GCC setups to a Haltech car and have NEVER, EVER blown a motor.
I was not familiar at all with tuning the AEM and would never even try to, I had been driving around with this "TUNE" in my car for several months now and had not touched a single thing at all, not one!!
Kept the car at the exact settings till it grenaded from detonation
after several days of fuming and trying to look for a logical explanation to WTF happened.......I turned to my good friend and MASTER DSM GURU David Buschur for an answer.
I drove the 400+ miles out to Ohio and brought my laptop with the maps loaded in and had THE MAN check them out........Well within just a few minutes he says to me "THERE IS THE F*&%$@# REASON YOUR CAR EXPLODED, THAT'S B.S DUDE" this whole fuel AND timing map SUCKS, and there is no knock safety at all.
That is what made me blow my top guys, I've been keeping this hush, hush to not start a whole trashing between shops.... But you know what? I'm out a motor, down a car, sold most of my major$ mods for practically pennies, just to come up with money to pay for a freakin repair that was totally unnecessary, and to top it off, I've met several, and I mean (more than 6) people who have gone through the same crap.

BIG AL.....GWASSUP MENG? You know you still DA MAN!!!! You know the deal with my BS story man. You have no idea Dude how close I am to blowing the lid on this whole thing. I'm sittin here adding up the cash needed for my rebuild and I'm just on fire man.........Half my mods have been sold already and back to square one.......Thanks for the backup Big Al!! And yes you are right, David will be the ONLY person to ever go under the hood of the 4BANGR............He started me on this craze almost 10 years ago, and I'm going back to the INNOVATORS, NOT THE IMITATORS!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that man, buschur is a good tunner shop and they know what they are doing. I can tell this will turn ugly very quickly! Good luck and thanks for looking out for the rest of the EvoM community. 6 blown engines by the same person is definitely not right.
I would like to know also.
