Speed density vs MAP?

Speed density vs MAP?
Could someone please help me by listing a compare/contrast of Speed density Vs MAP. Pros/cons, anything to help me better understand the two and their differences. At this point the vagueness of my knowledge is limited only to the difference in terms. Thanks guys!.

The only things i gather from the two are the following:
Open element air intakes and VTA blowoff valves can be used without the computer misreading the airflow. But, i heard that speed density is harder to tune accurately....Maybe someone could chime in and explain why...

GuruJack eh? Will do. Thanks for the help, and yeah i know yo can use speed density to work with open element intakes and VTA BOVs but i just wanted to know the differences between that and the MAP, which is more accurate or tunable or which is ideal for what situation and such. Thanks tho i'll pm him now.

I would say that if the car will be used as a daily driver, you should stick with the MAF, but if it will see a lot of track time, go with the MAP set up. The MAP will offer less restrictions, where the MAF will give you a little better drivability.
