Fuel pressure regulator solenoid?
There is a solenoid valve in the vacuum lines between the intake manifold and the fuel pressure regulator. I did some searching and a couple people have said that it's purpose is to change the fuel pressure during hot starts in order to keep the fuel from vaporizing in the fuel rail.
My question is whether or not the AEM EMS even does anything with this solenoid? If not I'm going to take it out. Especially if it does more (in a negative, anti-tuning kind of way) then what I think it does. Anyone know anything about this solenoid?
