re-sync your ignition timing, that fixed the problem for me. Before everybody gets their panties in a bunch about syncing the timing on a non adjusted cammed evo > believe me not all cars are the same.... Check out the thread i just posted, regarding the knock fix. Hit the crank with a timing gun and verify timing @ idle then at 4500 RPM, im almost sure it would be completely off about 10-12 advanced just like mine was on the setting given in the base EVO cal.

Update!
I had the RnR manifold switched out with my new ported and coated manifold from Buschur. I am still experiencing the knock jumping around(3-4.2 volts), so when I get back in town this upcoming weekend I am going to resync the timing as suggested and see if that solves my knock issue.
I also installed Magnacore 8.5 wires and the misfiring has not happened again since.
