anyone using aem 3.5 bar with MAF?

my question / problem is: i am struggling to get the cal file 2 work with the "MAF" sensor working while utilizing the input from the aem 3.5 bar map sensor.....until i get my ait installed.

i want to keep my maf in the car for now.

It will be difficult to accurately calibrate the car using the MAF sensor of the air temp reading, with the MAP sensor. This happens because using a MAP sensor you need to determine the air temp as close to the intake manifold as possible to accurately determine the air flow into the engine.

If you use the MAF to measure the air temp you are only reading the temperature pre-turbo. This temperature will be WAY different than the temperature that is at your intake manifod. Because of this the engine will not run right with a MAF measuring temp with a MAP sensor.

You will have to change the cal to get it to work with the MAP sensor, or just use the MAF sensor until you have an IAT sensor installed.

if you look at the AIT compensation table, it really looks unimportant................ check it out, i bet you can run w/o ait without any issues.
