What does your A/F trace after shift look like?

I am curiuous to know what other people are seeing for their a/f trace after shifts.

can you post a log of rpm, a/f & throttle please of you mowing through a 1/2/3 upshifts?

I have a lean spike that i cant get rid of, which appears in my mind, as being excessive.

TIA

i will post a log later, as i dont have any data on this machine.

Most of the time when you shift the log of A/F will spike lean. THis is because of the decel fuel shutting off the fuel injectors when you let off the throttle. If however you are at WOT and the A/F are spiking lean I would be worried.

Look at your accel fuel maps/settings. It is normal to have a short lean spot right after the shift, it is fairly impossible to get rid of it all completely. You will probably found out if you do it will be too rich. If you want to send me a log I would atleast look at it and see if it looks normal.

So if you can manipulate your map to spike rich upon upshifts can you expect a nice fireball/ bang ?

You can just set your Fuel off above RPM high under the decel fuel options if you want to see a fireball when you shift.

Not really a serious question as a fireball just seems like a premature turbo rebuild waiting to happen but, what do you mean by setting my fuel off? Dont you require fuel for the bang and shutting it off just seems like it would create an even leaner condition than the one mentioned above.

On decel fuel your injectors will shut off when your throttle is lifted. By setting the fuel off above RPM high (7000 for example). You are telling the EMS to shut off the injectors once you lift the throttle for any RPM above 7000. If your engine RPM is below 7000 your injectors will be firing as normal which would cause the fireball in the exhaust.
