How come both my boost gauge and my Blitz turbo timer(boost feature) is reading 3 psi off what it says on my AEM EMS?

AEM EMS = 25psi

Stewart Warner Boost gauge = 28psi

Blitz =1.93 bar

 

What Map sensor are you using? and what are the settings?

 

AEM 5 Bar Map sensor.

The gauges are off.. You should go with what the EMS says is right.. EMS take other factors into consideration.

 

Most gauges will always read slightly different.

Between my:

1. Defi boost gauge
2. Greddy Profec EBC built in gauge
3. Logging engine load from the AEM EMS

I've seen differences as much as 2psi, with the Defi reading the highest and the Greddy and AEM being within 0.5 psi most of the time.

 

My 52mm greddy Boost gauge used to read "Greddy" when I was over 25psi. LOL

 

I have the same gauge lol

 

My Defi is 3psi more than my 5 bar map sensor.

 

I have noticed this as well, I would trust what the EMS read out is saying before the gauge...my gauge reads about 1.5 PSI higher then the BCS reads on the AEM.

 

My AEM 30-4406 boost pressure gauge is 6psi off. I notice it even just switching on (no engine running) and reads "-6" when it should be "0".

Is there a way to correct this?

 

my aem boost gauge reads 2 psi less than my profec b. dont know which one to trust.

 

We are talking about AEM EMS not aem gauge.

 

The EMS always reads exactly 2 psi less than both my boost gauges, (stock RS gauge, and Zietronix)

 

My AEM reads a couple psi lower than my greddy profec II
