Lancer Evolution 7 AEM EMS Successfully Installed

I would like thank Frank from South Florida Performance for sucessfully installed and mapped my Evo7. I have no words to described the kind of person that he is. This guy is a very honest and straight forward person, it is very pleasant to have the oportunity to work with such a professional person.

My car is an Evo7 with a Tomei 2.2 Strocker kit with all the usual race stuff that goes along with it. For injectors, I'm running HKS1000cc.

He made me 2 maps, 1 for pump gas and 1 for C16.

The car pulls awesome at 1.5 on pump and at 2.0bar with C16, it is just something else. This system and his service, truly surspassed my expectations.

Once again, I would like to recomend Frank from SFP if you have a car that needs to be map or else.

AWESOME, AMAZING AND OUTSTADING SERVICE

Hi there, how did you plugged the 1313 to the Evo 7, is there any converter? Or you changed the Harness?

Can you please help me with this?

Thanks

Thanks for the fast response... I was actually working on it and found out that the 8 - 22 is the pin to be swapped, but I also think there is another pin that matches. Please let me know if needed or if only those 2.

Also, the basemap of the Evo 8 can be used on the Evo 7? Or is needed to create a specific basemap?

Here is what I was doing so far
Code:
===================================
[EVO VII - VIII PINOUT DIFFERENCES]
===================================
--------------------------------
[Evo 7 pinout | AEM EMS 30-1313]
--------------------------------
8.Fuel pump relay 2 | A/C compressor relay
22.A/C compressor relay | Fuel pump relay 2

40.- | MAF Ground
43.- | Clutch Pedal SW
46.- | Fuel Pump IN

53.SAS Selenoid | -
55.I/C Spray Relay | EVAP Emision vent
56.Diagnostic | -
57.-|H2O Spray Relay
61.-|Fuel tank diff press

73.-|Manifold differential press sensor
74.-|Fuel level IN
77.-|Fuel Temp IN
87.ACD/AYC Signal IN | -

------------------
[Posible rewiring]
------------------
8-22.Fuel pump relay 2 | Fuel pump relay 2
22-8.A/C compressor relay | A/C compressor relay

55-57.I/C Spray Relay | H2O Spray Relay

You don't need to physically swap the wires. You can just reassign the pins in the aem software.

@wreckleford thanks, Already did the changes on the AEM

And, will and Evo 8 basemap work to startup the Evo 7 before getting it tuned, do you have one so I can check it? And, Is it better to get a map sensor or with the MAF it will work fine?
