aem launch

Just briefly looked through the manual and think this might help:
Go to:
Setup | Rev Limiter | Options - 2-Step
Set up this option's window like the picture below.
Refer to pages 193-195 of the AEMPro User Guide for definitions of each field.
Go to:
Setup | Rev Limiter | Options - 2-Step
Set up this option's window like the picture below.
From AEM Manual:
Enter the appropriate 2Step Ignition Cut and 2Step Fuel Cut RPM values to activate the limiter. The 2Step Fuel cut+ and 2Step Ign Cut+ options will need to be tuned to achieve the desired type of cut (hard or soft). This example deactivates the 2-step rev limiter after 10 mph. Note: The RevLimit2 VSS must be met before the Fuel/Ignition cut 2nd RPM.

Yes we do. Personally I LOVE leaving the line with 15 psi of boost!
The 2 step example is just an example, not a good setup for our cars.
Here is how you do it...
2Step Input..............Switch is always on
2Step Fuel Cut..................... 10,000 RPM
2Step Fuel Cut +...................... 0.00%
2Step fuel cut Rate.................. 0.00%
2Step Ignition Cut.................. 6,000 RPM
2Step Ign Cut +..................... 58.20%
2Step Ign Cut Rate................ 14.84%
2Step OK Below VSS.............. 11 MPH
Fuel cut is a HARSH way to do a 2 step, and don't build boost on the line worth a crap.... that is why mine is set up for ignition cut only. Adjusting the percentages on ignition cut + and ignition cut rate will adjust how much above your RPM setpoint you go and how much boost you build at the line.
Disclaimer! These setings work for me... I am NOT saying they will work good for you!

also keep in mind that the egt's will go through the roof when you are building boost on the 2 step.... dont hold it for long or you will be melting anything on the exhaust side of the engine.. valves, manifold, turbo...............

sorry about that I didn't noticed that I was logged in under the wrong name.
6000rpm seem a bit high, if you would like try these settings that I use after much playing around. I build about 7psi off the line and launch the car at a much lower rpm. Car comes off the line very smooth, with egts around 800f measured before the turbo so they are very safe.
switch is always on
2step fuel cut 10,000 rpm
2step fuel cut+ 0.00
2step fuel cut rate 0.00
2step ignition cut 4500rpm
2step ign cut+ 46.88
2step ign cut rate 33.98
2step ok below vss 11mph

Is there a way to specifically launch at a certain boost level? Tying in the boost controller and the 2-step?
I can't wait for my AEM to come, because I can hit 0.05 lights pretty consistant, but launching in boost and slipping the clutch (restrictor is coming out next week) are very hard to time.

You don't want the switch always on or else you'll be hitting the two step all the time (while driving), you wan't to set it up to the clutch switch or the best way is the use to set the 2step input to - "V Speed on" and 2Step ok below VSS to 10 or 11mph. The VSS registers 10 or 11mph as soon as the car starts moving. For something like a GT35R i'd set it to something like this.
2Step fuel cut - (about 1K higher than the ignition cut, just in case you don't have enough ignition cut rate and it pulls past the ignition cut)
2Step ignition cut = 5K-5.5K
2step ignition cut + = 50-60%
2Step igntion cut rate = 25-30%
Fuel cut set at about 50% on both
play with the ignition cut and cut rate so that it's hitting the two step quickly but doesn't pull much past the ignition cut RPM. With this setup you can launch at about 5-10 lbs. of boost depending on your setup. If you want more boost, you can use the drag style anti-lag but it will put a lot of heat into the exhaust side of the motor and will be brutal on the drivetrain, 30psi of boost at launch anyone? I have a video I will post later of 20psi 2 steps on anti-lag shooting 8' fireballs :-)
