knock count

anyone know how to setup the knock count activity?
i have a knock link in the car and it is lighting up and i get no knock count when i log on the aem.
is me knock link lieing or am i getting knock?
the car was tuned on a dyno with 94 pump gas with no knock at all (on the knock link) but when i was on the way (93 octane) home the knock link was lighting up and still is.

goto setup_sensors_knock sensor_knock sensor control

that will bring up a parameters screen and a table. thats the knock sensor cal table....

now you need to use the data logger... log knock #1 volts set to log fastest.

log a pull from idle to redline under low load with race gas and conservitive timing. look at the log of knock volts, this will give you a "picture" of the natural noise of the engine. simply make the knock sensor cal table match the numbers you got from the logs, add a couple tenths of a volt just so you dont get any retard from "fake" knock (ie, loud engine noises, the wg opening etc).

click the box that says knock control in the top right of the screen. the other settings should be fine.
