Known best injector?
I'd like to move up to a 1000cc injector and run E85 on the stock 9 turbo.
Reading through the injector latency thread gave me a head ache as many people are having many problems.
I was hoping this forum could provide a list of the top three injectors to dial in on E85. Meaning what brands will plug-n-play without hard starting issues and such?
My car is running perfectly right now and I don't want to encounter issues with only an injector swap.

i tuned my FIC 1050's for E85 last weekend...starting issues were minimal except when i was at the track and running the car really hard i found out my latencys were set a little too high so i had to hold the throttle slightly open to start it up...but thats an easy fix...its all about trial and error especially with E85 tuning

FIC900 and FIC1100 are bothl high impedance and work great. They dont exhibit any starting issues when setup properly and allow you to max the fuelpump out. For the standard low impedance injectors anything from 950-1250 work well with the stock turbo depending on size of motor and ultimate power goal.

agreed. the whole fic lineup is great....high impedance is the way to go in my book. the injector dynamic injectors are good too but for the price and comparison might as well go with the fics...theyre pretty dang similar too.

My friend switched from RC1000's to FIC1100's after riding in my car.....he had a 272 cam'd VIII w/ IX turbo and all the bolt on stuff. His driving quality and idle quality has improved 10x better - the car idles at the stock rpm with a slight lope now, its amazing you can barely tell there is cams in it. I tuned both setups and was surprised at the difference in quality between the 2 when it comes to how the car runs now.
I would say (imo) at this point in the injector world the FIC high-z lineup is the best way to go........hands down.

Highz is referring to the injectors being high impedance. These injectors are plug and play, but require the removal of the resistor pack. Here is a write up in "how to" section of the forums. Its pretty easy to do.

For anyone who has switched over to the FIC 1100 high impedance injectors, would you recommend the FIC complete seal kit for installation, or should I use factory seals?
