Jarod, how difficult was the rear drive conversion? I've got a 93 hatch that I've been pondering as one of the possible donor cars for a project I'm working on.. Preferrably an AWD setup, but I can't find any other good "starting points" to work from, and aquiring an entire AWD drivetrain is proving to be too difficult.

Specifically, how did the engine fit and what sort of firewall clearance issues? The rear is no problem, I'll find something that will work after I decide on the platform.

thats 2 different cars...one is running an Evo3 AWD set-up (note the exhaust->driveshaft placement, and older style rear crossmember and Diff) and the other is strange cause it looks like MirageCyborg Hatch (which some came AWD and 4G63) but then it has an Evo1-3 Style front...

Any picks or video's you guys can share.

Also Which would you think was better to use for an awd conversion, a hatch or rex, it would strick me the a rex would be almost tractionless not having enough weight to plant the tires.
