I think he is referring in downtown Manila!
If I were him I would just mod that Evo than buying STi.(that's just me coz Im always into speeeed )
DGL is now running 9sec there and Jon of Blanche Racing runs 10.2 on his CRX.

Motorimage's salesperson lied as to when the STI will come out which they said to be June or July. Neeeded a car cause we needed a car. I am not sure if the salesperson lied again but they said the color of my car will be exclusive to me alone in the Philippines for the next half year.
After driving it a bit and punching it on southbound SLEX today I realized that it isnt that bad. I really just wanted the STI for the badge and the more aggressive body styling. But after everything's said and done this is a good daily drive though the boot is quite small if you're used to the cavern known as the Evo 8. I am getting 7-8KM/liter on 95 RON Petron XCS Plus.
Coming from an Evo I found the ride a bit disconnected which is nice if this is a daily driver but really disconcerting if you want to attack the corners really fast.
As for now I'm only interested with better shoes. I find the wheels a bit too small for the car.
