400kw Mitsubishi Magna / Diamante
For those interested the RPW Twin Turbo Mitsubishi 3.5 V6 Magna has hit 400kw at the flywheel at only 10 psi boost.
we have had to stop here as we have fitted the largest high flowing internal fuel pump we can and do not plan on fitting any external pumps.
This is thorugh the FWD maneul 5 speed with a Cusco LSD.
We will be running the drags with some Indy style FWD semi slicks so we can do autokana's with teh same tyres.
Will publish more results as we get them.

Hey, Dave. Didn't realise you post here too! I think I'm becoming a forum ***** and am getting around a bit
Nice to see a familiar face and well done so far on the TT Magna! (Not that you haven't heard it before)

It is frightening how many forums I go through in one day. Last count is something like 50 all of them Mitsubishi, Hyundai or Proton related. I probably spend around 2 hours a day on forum answers. But best way to speak to people and answer questions. Better than email that for sure.

Congratulations from the East side
Mitsiman
Keep up the good work, showing them what Mitsubishis are good for.
I have been eyeing of the Magna as a project kit for a while as I believed the potential was there as well.
Fantastic, jolly good stuff, this should drive right past most Ford and Holden machinery with ease. How good is that.

Thanks for the info.
It can be a little disheartening at times when you see how much money we put into producing new products to be let down by a manafacturer or soemthing small but we usually manage to work it out quite quickly.
The magna is awesome to drive - now only if Mitsubsihi would release a manuel 4wd model it would be nice.

Power to burn
Mitsiman
I for one don't doubt you, but wondering if you could post up the dyno file, I don't care if its a data drill or fully mapped, I can understand it either way.
I would reckon it has to be the most interesting set of numbers ever, especially over 4500 rpm.
Any idea of 0 - 100 km/h times
Many thanks

I don't have a scanner here unforutnatly which is why I cannot post the dyno results. I will try to see if someone from the MOGWA club can drop by and scan it for me. I will see what I can do.

The figures we got at on the dyno was at the wheels which was 360hp. Our expereince on dyno's with the magnas is that whatever we get at the wheels in HP is equivelent to what we get at the flywheel in KW thereby allowing for a 25% drivetrain loss.
If the drivetrain loss is higher then it is to our benefit as it means we are creating more power than we expected - but I work on a 25% loss which is the average for FWD vehicles. Rear wheel drive vehicles have a 40% drivetrain loss and AWD vehicles have a 60% drivetrain loss.
