Info:
Event #7 is our annual trek to the Road Course at the Texas Motor Speedway. Always our largest attended event, the road course is fast, fun and sometimes intimidating. Don't let it get to you - it's just another autocross. (but on a really famous racetrack). It's really cool driving through the tunnel knowing that you'll be competing instead of just spectating that day.
*This event has some special requirements - you must have autocrossed at least 3 times in the current year to be eligible for this event. The three events don't have to be with the SCCA. Other local autocross clubs events count towards meeting the requirements. We'll be checking local results when you sign up, and will contact you if we can't verify that you meet the prerequisite. This is a safety issue for us - not so much for the drivers, but for the workers. The Road Course is a large venue with workers spread out over long stretches. It's important that the worker pool be experienced in this situation.
This event will be online registration only. THERE ARE NO WALK UP REGISTRATIONS PERMITTED. This is necessary for us to verify your experience and it also helps us plan a better event for you!

Wow, this looks so awesome!
Unfortunately I've taken on a new job that requires a lot of travel. I don't get back until Monday, the day after. Sucks.
I'll be in town the 24th and 25th though. Justin, is that TT on the 24th at MW? It looks like they all are, but you can't click the link on "Upcoming Events."

Alright guys, so tell me what happened?
Jeremy Ault, we were pulling off the track after a run and I saw you coming down the start. Looked like you went off roading lol! Everything ok?
Justin, I saw your car unleash the biggest smoke screen since I blew up the Z06. Hoping it was just a hose. What's the story guys?

So far all I know is that the spark plugs in #2&4 failed. I blew out the dipstick blowing oil everywhere. The car is still smoking like crazy even with new plugs in it.
Could be head gasket, blown turbo, piston or rings. We will find out tonight when we do a compression test.
Good news is my buddy Walter in the orange Civic Si got it on tape so I'll post it soon LoL. I'm still a little surprised though. I'm only running bolt ons and a tune. 340hp and 360tq. Who knows. The car was running great at MSR on Labor day. Could be so many things. I know I did not overboost. I know it wasn't fuel or oil starvation. I think the plugs just crapped out.
