I think I will do the NTAXS Bus Lot event next Saturday on the 15th. (edit - not going this Sunday)
Justin - let me know if you want to co-drive. I'm completely fine with that.
I don't really plan on going all the way out to MW unless someone here really really wants to go and talks me in to it.

I heard some Genesis Coupe decided to take one of the corners out at the bus lot in reverse and smashed into a concrete barricade. Walter said it was pretty bad, maybe there will be some photos up later. The course was all wet, but my buddy Walter snagged a first place win in Tire Class!

Congrats to Walter!! He's a great driver. That wall looked sketchy last time Jeremy and I were out there in the rain.
Jeremy, I won't be able to make it on the 15th. Thanks for the invite though!!! Maybe in November I can take you up on a co-drive. Maybe I can get my car out there for a few if we can get it finished by then.

Yeah that final run to win FTD was an amazing moment I will not soon forget. It was like sinking a 3-pointer at the buzzer. The thrill of the victory!
For everyone, the final results are here -- http://www.s2000.org/nts2koc/autox/2011_1015.htm
Thanks again to Kevin for the amazing E85 tune that makes my car rocket-speed fast and for the maintenance that keeps it running as strong as an ox and able to win even with 110K miles on the clock!

Finished 3rd in class of 20 and 11th best raw time out of 63. Figures my GPS lap timer bails on me during my BTOD. I didn't really like the course and spending 3 hours in traffic to go 26 miles was the suck...I hate you 114!

Nice!
Conversely, I think that was my favorite NTAXS course this year (did 2, 3 & 5). I struggled the most with the right U-turn in the center of the course in the morning. I had that mess down in the afternoon, but somehow managed to cut that first left sweeper exit wide every time in the afternoon (just like we thought all the RWD's would do). I swear I came in sideways/had to regain control 3/4 afternoon runs. One time I pegged a cone, which sucks because that was my 51.093 run. On my last run OTD, I really lost it coming around the top of the cone but somehow stayed on course (albeit losing a ton of time). Oh well, it wound up being my fastest clean run at 52.008. I'm happy, given the competition ahead of me.
Jose and Jeremy, y'all were insane as usual. I'm already looking forward to the next one. Just stay far far away from 114 through Grapevine. That was God-awful.
