I just came back from the MSR-Houston season opener last weekend with Driver's Edge. Finally moved up to the red group! Great success!
Coincidentally, they did CCW direction which will be the same as the NASA direction this coming weekend. Apparently this is not the normal direction everybody is familiar with, so it seems everybody is learning the track, not just me.
I timed myself with my lap timer to about 1:49s best and around 1:50-1:51 on average. I hit maybe 110 on the straight. So, if you guys haven't been that direction, I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Congrats Jeff. I'm super jealous that you already ran the track.
You know if anybody got video of running that direction? It isn't going to be very helpful to learn the track by watching videos going the other direction.

I saw some videos running CCW on youtube.
The one with the Porsche chasing the Ferrari challenge was especially helpful since he had gps data in video.
I have my own in-car video also if you wanted them. Its relatively easier track to learn, since its mostly flat

Bumping this thread for the NASA race happening on 3/17-18 at MSR Cresson. There will be at least 6-7 evos running this event, and we will definitely be the majority in TTA (at least 4 EvoD cars). We will have one in TTC and another in HPDE that will be trying to get signed off for TT competition. There is an outside chance that the Pikes Peak race car will be there as well. If nothing else, it is going to be a fun day to watch some racing and hang out with some Evo guys.

Justin, I hope you guys can make it out. But don't make any promises for rides. If a TT driver takes a rider, the times are disregarded from the results But, if anybody is in HPDE 4 (or 3?), they can take riders.

Jim and I got our cars to the track this evening. All ready to go for some racing!
And we got plenty of space for the 8 or 9 Evo's that will be there.
Cool silhouette. I love the stock antenna.
