Your class 2. NTAXS does it by engine size.
Also this event is limited to 65 drivers. So far we have 3 Evo's and 1 WRX registered. I know Kevin and co-driver will be signing up. Lets get some more people!!!
Jose, Jeremy where you at!!!

Justin -- Sure. We can meet up somewhere and caravan in. If you need directions, just use google maps.
And yeah, I don't think that Porsche is going to be competition but I've been surprised before.
Todd, maybe you could get some fresh tires of a larger size to use for Autox and other things since you'll be doing more this year than just NASA now that the Subi vs Mitsu thing is going on.

That chick fil a is not in my hood...I'm from Oak Cliff son. It's a good spot since everyone else but me is coming from the north and we have to eventually be on 30 anyway. Besides, chick fil a's breakfast is legit.
Scope it out on Google; it's right off of Hulen and 30. How about meeting at 7. That will put us at MW by 8.

Well, now all Hankook RS3's are on back order. I was looking around TireRack and I think I'm going to get the Kumho Ecsta XS in 235/45/17. They have a 180 AA A rating (versus the 140 A A of the RS3's) and I can use them in NASA if I had to.
Or. I could go to the Kumho Ecsta XS in 245/45/17 for the same price. This would probably be comparable to the 235 RS3 in traction (total assumption here) for the same price as the smaller tire.
What do you guys think?

That is a good point. I was considering buying another set of RS3's when they get in stock, but I may abandon that plan. We already know that my car is not competitive in TTC, so it wouldn't hurt to try another tire compound.

I'd avoid the XS just because that's what I've read/heard. Having said that, everyone's style is different, and they might work marvelously for you. I don't have first hand experience with those in particular, but am constantly studying what people are running at each event, and learning what did/didn't work well. That's mostly because I can't afford to be a guinea pig, heh.
If I were you, I'd go with Star Specs as the #2 option next to the RS3's.

Hmm. As I'm sure you know, treadwear ratings can vary largely by manufacturers. Star Specs are 200, but come on...

Just checked the entry list and there are 8 Evo's signed up! That is awesome.
There are 2 Subaru's signed up and I'm not sure if they are part of the Cup. But we will recruit them.
Edit: Kevin registered his car as "Pink." I guess that was a limited production run at Mitsubishi.
