Martin,

Any new setting secrets on the Buddy Clubs other than what you told Eric to tell me for settings? Otherwise, I'll try your pre-OLA advice.

I ended up setting the Buddy Clubs at 13 clicks rear and 12 front, I wanted some more valving, and more spring rate, lot of power trying to get to the ground, when we detuned it, it felt better, but for higher HP i would go up a notch in base setup.

Wow just found this thread, I think everybody had a great time for all who was involved.
Time trials are not my cup of tea as all I have ever done was w2w. First time I drove the
car was at the wet skidpad. Hows that for being unprepared. Some testing would have
been nice, Oh well thats Onelap I guess. Would love to drive the car sometime, Jon that
is one hell of a fast car AMS built. The numbers that car makes is just sick. congrats

Kolin, nice to hear from you, did you do anything fun and exciting the rest of the year?

You coming back to do one Lap again? We are working on the Time Attack car, so we should be a little more prepped, but so is everyone else, the field looks stacked.

It is a hell of a car for sure, like i said before I was really blown away by how well AMS did build a car and how well it performed on the road course despite it being their first try at it.

I hope to see you out there next year, or if not w2w at some point.

Jon I run a scca race about every 3 or 4 weeks almost year round. Two great wins that
come to mind are the august national at vir in ssc and also a class win in the 13 hours
of vir with a two car team. We had so much fun the driving was almost secondary. I for
sure will not do onelap again, Dale was deperate last year because his primary driver
he had planned on backed-out with about a month to go. So he called me and I reluctently
said yes. The whole time trial/autocoss type format is just not for me. Lets run 25 laps
heads up with everyone and hell I will stand in line right now. Anyways the best of luck
to you guys and your effort.

You do well at the time trial format for it not to be your thing.

I actually hope to run the 98 ACR Neon I have next year a bit as well.. I did a couple of events in the FC last year, but I would like to take the Neon to the runoffs since its the last year the car is able to run. It will be a low buck effort, so I dont know how competitive it iwll be, but I want to do it anyway.

It will be too bad not having you out at One Lap, I liked the fact we were a couple of roadracers taking on the rest.

What differently do you guys do to setup your GT35R for the roadrace vice drags. Just drop boost levels ect

For road racing, you want to run a lot less boost. I run 23 psi (on racegas). Depending on conditions and race duration, some ppl will push higher than that, but not by much.

The big difference inthe AMS car roadrace and drag race setups is that the drag car doesn't use the GT35, it uses the GT42.

A bit less boost is one thing of course, because of sustained periods of high RPM, different fuel ratio, and I would imagine different cams for a pure roadrace vs drag setup.
