Ludikraut,
What injectors are you using and how is you car idling. Did you have Shiv scale them into your ecu?

Smoggy, I have 780cc injectors and, yes, I had Shiv scale the ECU to accomodate them. The 280s idled ... barely (read: stall with AC on, no problem without). However, that was with pretty much no tuning and no playing with the cam gears. I am hoping that ultimately I will be able to run them at -2/0 or a derivative thereof, but that will have to wait until next week when we finally get to tune the car for real.

Thanks LK,
Gnulooks is having a world of problems getting his car to idle with the AMS 3071kit. He started with 780's with no ecu injector scaling: nightmare. Now, we are trying to do everything right. Gnulooks traded the 780s for 680s and sent his ecu up for rescaling for the 680s. Still a nightmare. Idle's incredibly rich. Now he has re-sent his ecu up to Shiv to double check the work on the scaling. He is also using the AMS-supplied K&N cone style filter. Any thoughts?

I can pretty much guarantee that these will never drop in that price range. with the way stainless steel prices raise and part supply prices go up. I can see the final kit price going nowhere but up as well. Sorry

When I have no idea. the fabricators here want to shoot me for all the work i just unloaded on them. LOL Thanks again guys and to those that got in on this, your kits are just around the corner.
Eric, congrats on the sales. It isn't a surprise to me with all of the success AMS is having. I will for sure get in on the next group buy. And I am sure my pal Jeremy aka Jerastan will to. Jeremy had a beast Evo done by you guys and mine was stolen. Jeremy sold his and we both plan on getting Evo IX's. After riding in Jeremy's car. I gotta have it. ( 10's)

Yep, I am currently running the AMS 2.3 stroker kit with .020 over pistons, AMS 35R turbo kit, Xede, 880 injectors, Exedy Triple Carbon clutch.

Idle is fantastic with tons of vacuum. No stalling issues. No smoke, no oil use. So far, so good.

The AMS 3076 Kit is simply AMAZING!

Had it on the car for 8 monthes now.. best 1/4 was 11.4@121 in summer.

Now with the colder weather I bet this thing can go 11.0.

That was on 100 oct and no meth... fricking sweet.

...and on pump @ 22 psi spool up is awesome and still fast as hell.

That's great to hear! Where is the onset of usable power compared to the stock 16g spool?
