Sherif we spoke this morning. yours is boxed up ready to go.
Again guys our initial coating company took a dive on us. Every kit was chipping. In the past they were great but something happened on this run and I couldnt take the chance of it happening again. Obviously I cant ship a product out like that so we had to pull them out and send them to a new place. So far they have been nothing but great and the quality is top notch. 80% of the group buy kits are leaving by tomorrow the rest will leave by tue/wed next week. Again we sincerly appologize for the wait and we are doing everything we can to get you guys your toys.

Just ran accross this and wanted to know if the manifold I sent back to you guy's to have the EGT bung welded in and re-coated is part of the batch from the original coating company that may chip in the future? If so, should I send it back and have it re-coated now since my car is still disassembled and the header can be shipped asap or should I run it and see what happens?

Eric,
I received my 35R kit on Wednesday. I call it Darth Turbo. It is all black (including Tial Wastegate) and mean looking. No ghey purple wastegate like Ludikraut j/k.
Also, I received word that Dan Benson got the correct pistons yesterday from Ross and has finished hanging them. (no word on problems ) It looks like my car is finally coming together.
Unfortunately, I've put a ton of time into organizing a dyno day next weekend but my car won't be done and broken in in time to participate. Oh well. Can't win 'em all.
I'm so darn excited though. Hopefully, I won't have to make too many compromises on max safe power in order keep as many stock systems in place. Air box and ignition are completely stock. Fuel system only has Walbro 255 and 880 injectors. I'll modify these systems when needed. My goals are pretty simple: 1. have the most powerful evo using an Xede, driveability as good as stock, low 11's and 125+ in 1/4, have fun surprising "faster" cars on lonely freeways...
