Try a thorough boost leak test before you get too down...

The dyno experience was cool. The shop Evo was Ridiculous.
I pulled a 347 hp @ 6,200rpm, 352 tq @ 3,850rpm. 26 psi dropping to 22 on alky & 93.

Thanx bro, I heard the bad news from Chris on your t-case hopefully you wont have any issues w/ the new one. I am pretty happy w/ the numbers, but I am getting meth injection so I can run higher boost on a daily basis and hopefully pull some better times at the track

Just curious, you're numbers seemed really low for a 20g on race gas. I have a stock 03 turbo (9.8 hotside), and you only put down 11 more horsepower..... Is something wrong with your car? I'd be REALLY disappointed....
Maybe Buschur can chime in on this.

I'm sure the peaks are close, but if I took a look at your graph I will almost guarantee much greater gains through the rev range to redline. And I am not to disappointed as it is based off a stock turbo and running at 25-26 psi. With meth injection and more boost the numbers will pick up. I don't believe anything is "wrong" w/ the car as it still put out the highest numbers of the day

I'm sure your curve has some greater gains throughout the rev range as it should; you're on a bigger turbo. You also said you were on race gas. I don't know how much more power you're going to get with methonal injection. It will probably be equivalent of running ras gas.

BTW, my dyno chart still made 350 hp between 6k and 7k. There wasn't a dramatic dropoff at redline at all. I'm just saying, I would have expected more horsepower on race gas with a 20G at 26psi. You have all the supporting mods that I have plus more!

I'm sure there are more gains to be had by going w/ a slightly leaner tune along w/ the cooling effect of meth injection. When I was tuned, it was done on a very conservative 10.6-10.8 af w/ the "race gas". My numbers seem to be in the ballpark w/ everyone else w/ similar mods, which is why I'm not really disappointed. If you are happy w/ your car that's great, but I could care less how you would feel about my car. Time will tell, if my power picks up w/ meth injection, leaner a/f, more timing, and more boost. Al of Dynoflash says that my boost gauge read lower than his readings w/ his boost guage also, so I may only be around 23-24 psi. My compression is 175 across the board and leakdown was fine. Not to try and come off as a jerk but it annoys me when people say they "expected more" blah, blah, blah. If you don't like the parts, don't buy them

I'm not giving you a hard time. If I came across like that, I'm sorry. I was just surprised at your numbers considering you had a 20G with all supporting mods. If you're happy with the way the car is, that's what is most important. It'd be interesting to see you mph at the track.

Don't worry about it, no hard feelings, I will see what it runs if I get a chance to make it back to the track this year. You're car must be strong, do you even have cams? Most people that dynoed at AMS w/ cams ran between 310-340. Hopefully having Big Martin doing the tuning will help things out

Yeah, I have the HKS 272s. Martin tuned my car for me and I would highly recommend him. His tunes are unbelievable. The car runs great with no driveability issues at all. Good luck with your car. I am considering the 20G as well, just want to see if Dave works out the surging issues with the fix in the works.
