AMS LICP Install problems
#17
did not mention though that I installed an ams front mount on and two days later is when the lower pipe blew off, (put on a couple weeks before the fmic) so I could have wiggeled it loose installing the front mount, from what I've been told the clamp should go on right after the ring which is about an inch or inch1/2 from the rolled end, then it should not come off and has not happened since, clamp is as tight as it's going to get, so time will tell!

What the guy is saying is that the AMS LICP does not have braces that bolt to the car. This is my only complaint about the product. I am going to wrap a section of my pipe with a peice of rubber and use some zip ties to help pull the pipe up and make it more secure.

I used the AMS clamps that came with the kit when I installed the LICP on my friends Evo and he has had no problems. Unless you count full boost 200-300 rpms sooner and 8whp and18 fts of tq he gained on the dyno.
