The team martin and eric from ams were on put down 550 awhp on stock internals, cams, no head bolts, no nitrous, and a super 60 turbonetix non ball bering turbo rated at 500hp....running 33psi...I believe thats the hp record on a stock motor, and stock head bolts, they also won the race then the other team wanted to do it again and threw a rod while getting ready to launch...

They raced last night in front of the frontier. Martin tuned the car to a amazing 550awhp on stock head studs w/ no nitrous.

As for the race martin team won. Got them pretty good then all of a sudden you see smoke from the other team, the black car threw a rod through the block.. Was a pretty exciting night. I have tons of pictures but the net in the hotel is so spotty they won't upload.

What shops were working on the black car? I saw names but didn't associate them with any shop.

 

Was that 550whp on the HPH mustang dyno?

deng, i was watching the build off for a while... those guys were working really fast... and u sed 550 awhp with stock internals? damn... that's a nice number to see...

yeah and i don't doubt thats completely reliable...i rev my 558 awhp (same dyno) on pump gas with meth injection to 8500 rpms all the time and no problems....again stock motor, intake mani, throttle body and so on...did have headstuds if it matters. Great job guys! are you going to be able to take it down a actual track?

Hey I watched this build up in vegas, and they worked really great. It was cool to meet alot of these guys. This was great to see all of the support for AMS. Nice job guys.
