Don't have my graph, but my Evo hit 314whp, after @30000, of which most are to and from, um, and ON the road course.

It has been tracked since the first day, and the settings are VERY conservative.

My car gave martin a nice headache Saturday. Something is up with it and baselined really low so I won't bother with actual numbers. But like a man possessed he grabbed me almost 20hp and over 40tq, this being on my car that seemed to be in a real bad mood These gains were on a bone stock IX that fought it all the way.

I'll be taking it back soon to get the problem worked out and a few parts installed and maybe I can post some real numbers.

My car was a bit interesting. Martin took almost 4 hours and 25 runs to see if he could extract any power from it.

Mods:
Cone filter
Manifold
O2 housing
3” DP
3” HFC
3”catback
Wastegate actuator
MBC

Untuned the car baselined at 294hp and 268lb/ft of torque. A/F ratio was around 10.9 straight across.

As soon as we got the first run in, Martin told me he wasn't sure if he could extract much more out of it since it was already fairly well tuned as it was. He played with A/F, timing, adding more boost....leaning it out helped out in the mid-range but it just did not like anything being changed in the top-end much. Played with the boost but it didn’t like that either so we left boost as is (19psi).

End result: 304hp 284lb/ft torque. As you can see the A/F didn't change that much tuned VS untuned

Its really interesting to see how not all Evos are created equal. And this leads me to think that a mail in flash just ain't gonna cut it. Personally I believe not having a measuring tool (like a dyno) to see where a car stands with boost, timing, and a/f could just be plain dangerous. And if not dangerous, a waste of money if you car wasn't running right in the first place or if the tune is too safe leaving power on the table.

So now I have a question for AMS: I heard you guys are considering mail in flashes or tunes. How could a mail in flash benifit Evo owners like zze86 or philthy IX with cars that you may have some difficulty with even on a dyno?
