Well, I hope you guys can make it. I have a lot of respect for the progress your shop has made in the last few years and it would be good to meet you guys.

We'll be there with an Unlimited RWD car and several AWD entrants, but no Unlimited AWD.

I hope that we can have the car well enough sorted that we can be confident showing up sunday-only.

There is no way I can be there Saturday though, i don't feel like being killed by my sister. Or really letting her down by not being at her wedding.

Interestingly enough, the story about my other sister's wedding is a good one, it involved climbing out of a racecar in the tech line, driving 2 hours in my racing suit, walking into a 4-star hotel still in my suit, showering, changing into a tux, and wedding pictures with a "pit pass" armband still on...

Looks like 2 wheels to me... I didn't think i was getting enough Gs to pick up both insides, but a picture my GF took is inconclusive but looks like it could be.. (just no shadows to prove it)

Missed you at Beaverun this weekend Jon, hope you're feeling better. It was an awesome weekend of racing. You going to Mid Ohio next month?

 

Yea, I was actually feeling a little better and went to do two local autocrosses, I can say I am VERY glad I wasn't trying to drive the AMS car at 150+ mph. I just wasn't, and still not, 100%. I could feel I was off, which is fine at 40 mph, not fine at a hundred more.

Right now it looks like this for me/AMS:

June 24/25: Test Days, Carolina Motorsports Park, Kershaw, SC
July 8, 9: EvolutionM.net Tuner Shootout, Carolina Motorsports Park, Kershaw, SC
July 22, 23: NASA Time Trial, Autobahn Country Club, Joliet, IL
Aug 11-13: NASA Time Trial, Mid-Ohio, Lexington, OH
Aug 14 or 15: SuperStreet East Championship, ?? (schedule says it's Road Atlanta)
Sept. 11-17: NASA Time Trial National Championships, Mid-Ohio

I am sad we didn't make it out to BeaveRun this weekend either, I was looking forward to it, when is the mid-ohio one you are talking about, is it on the 8/9 of July?

The Mid Ohio date is the 8/9 of July, I keep forgetting it is the same weekend as CMP - I'll probably be the only Evo there! Looks like I won't catch up with you guys until the Nationals, although I may try to do one day at MO in August on my way to the DSM/EVO shootout in Norwalk. I'm not running at Nationals, but I'll be there working grid.
