2.0l, 37r???

Ive got a 2G Talon with a 37r and a 2.0.... I havent had it tuned on the dyno yet but it definately moves... The lag really isnt all that bad.. It is ALWAYS fully spooled by 4700-4800ish but its hard to watch the tach at that point. Ill post up some numbers when I get it dynoed but on pump gas at around 20 lbs it feels to be about 450-460ish hp.

I'm interested too, but don't we all know the answer already? It's not rocket science your looking at 5K for full boost or a couple hundred rpm laggier than a 35R which most people say is laggy few say it isn't.
The power potential is dependent upon your internals. If you can't use a 35R to it's potential you definately won't be able to use a 37R to it's potential, right?

silveremperor,
I know a local friend from Tucson that has a gt37R with a 2.0 stock block and forged pistons. He already put down 481whp untuned on a Mustang dyno.
You can find him on this forum(pjsevo8). I hope that helps.

those are some strong #'s, yea we all know it spools a couple hundred rpm later than a 35r but still I was more concerned at the track falling out of boost on the 1 to 2 or even the 2 to 3 shifts. Yea fully built motor with that set up should hit around 700 whp on c16...everyone just seems to be changing to the stroker motors, i love the 2.0l 9,000rpm redline

I have a customer that street races out here that would like to remain annonymous but with 1000CC injectrors on a built 2.0 and our AMS 37R kit it put down 658 whp. Spool was much quicker then we had anticipated. I will try and get his dyno sheet with his name removed to show you guys.
