GT32 as an alternative?

I also have a 240. AMS recommends the GT32 they sell for 650 w/ T3 flange. Would it be crazy to ask if it could be used an evo with the right mani? It's not BB but for the price it's really good. On KA's it's supposed to make 400hp on pump by 20psi. So that would still be good considering the evo's smaller displacement? This seems like it could work... any thoughts?

The turbo works very well on the KA because of its setup and displacement.

I have used a bolt on 32 on a 2g DSM and the results were not that impressive. To be fair, the turbo was a bolt on.

Since the car comes witha turbo that, from the factory, is capable of producing around 380hp, I'd have to say that I would like to consider upgrading to something a little larger.

What are your goals for the car? This turbo may make 350-365 on pump gas, and as you know there is not much more left in it after that. This turbo is like the 16g for a KA.

Thank you for the clarification Chris. I'm not ready to buy yet, but I'm doing my HW. Looking at stock upgrades, the 20g-9 seems like a bit much for 1600+ with tuning and supporting mods, and only to make 30hp on pump gas. If this is the case I'd rather save my money and get a you alls 50R kit. Thanks again
