The CF roof is just sitting on top of the car at this point. It will be bonded and riveted eventually. It wont be permantly installed till later in the build so we have complete access to weld the cage in place.

That is still up in the air. We are entertaining ideas.
I would love some of the photshop friendly people to take a shot at it.
The main criteria for the paint scheme will be out colors which are Black, Red And silver. It needs to be sponsor friendly, meaning I need to be able to display our sponsor stickers well and they need to flow with the paint scheme.
Take a shot at it. I love new ideas.

Please update daily with new pictures, like a few guys already said, ground up builds are amazing to witness, especially from a shop of AMS' caliber. This is officially the best thread on EVOm in recent history.
I'm really liking the idea of an American made CyberEVO killer. Just to let the Japanese tuners know that the 'yanks can make their cars fast too. Don't forget to put the crosshairs on XS Engineering's R32, please.

The carbon/kevlar roof, how streetable do you anticipate that to be? Do you think it's to be a good idea for any EVO, or should it be considered a "track only" type setup?
I can't say I'm in the market, but I dig the idea of an MR roof on my '03, and this is lighter and more "baller", so maybe sometime down the road...

I would bet it's going to be done with epoxy and not bolted.. the cage and seam welding should hold it stiff enough that it doesn't come loose. Bolts.. just extra weight.
