I received mine also, it does look like a piece of art.

I have an install question though. I've got a standard battery in the standard location. Is it really feasible to mount the intake with a uicp and a normal size battery without interference? It doesn't look like it's going to fit by eyeballing it. A mini battery or battery relocation kit looks to be needed.

AMS, what do you think?

Martin;

I probably need one. Can't decide if I'll need the single or dual fuel rail option, though, with a 37R. Any thoughts?

If you're looking to max out the 37R on a single rail VSR you will need 1600cc injectors. Driveablility is poor with 1600's, especially at part throttle and idle.

With the Twin Rail VSR you can use two sets of smaller injectors. Fuel injectors up to 1000cc are very controllable at low pulse widths making idle and part throttle very smooth, comparable to that of a stock EVO.

How about with E85? I've got a set of 1600cc injectors and an AEM, but don't want to give up driveability if it can be avoided

Shoot me an email at eric@amsperformance.com

As far as gains on a stock IM, I have a test around here somewhere. I will go digging in the dyno archives and try to get one.

Eric
