Stock TB.
I appologize about the 30R, I meant to say it a certain version of the GT30R that we use. I said this because there are a bunch of different 30R's that can be configured. The one we use in our kit is the same one I used in these tests.

What throttle body did you use in this test. I have been thinking about getting this intake for my setup. I wanted to use a 70mm T.B. I would like to see what kind of gains this intake would give me. I have a similar engine setup.

My only gripe (albeit very minor) with the VSR intake so far has been that it should have come stock with a PCV valve attachment (something I had AMS add after the initial install).

Should horsepower and torque be about the same with a GT30 turbo and a 2.3 liter set-up? Do you have to run more boost for that happen?

I think I did read it right. What I was trying to say is, when you combine a GT30 turbo with 2.3 liters of displacement you will usually get horsepower that is equal to torque. Am I right? Scorke has a GT3076 turbo combined with a 2.3 liter stroker. With that set-up his power and torque levels were almost identical. Power was near 500whp and torque was also close to 500 foot pounds.

When you look at other dyno graphs, pay careful attention to how the torque starts to fall off. Not many GT30 setups can hold that much torque in the upper RPM range ... especially on pump gas. IMO that is why this graph may look different to you. I'd be willing to wager that the 2.3RR makes the same or more torque at 7500 RPM on pump gas than many other 2.3l GT30 setups on racegas.
