Quarter Mile with AMS GT3076R

With the mix we did 450whp and 388trq with 26psi. But we continued tuning on the streets after the dyno, on my Power Meter and Blitz Boost Controller it was showing 452whp when the dyno was showing 450whp, so that little device its pretty accurate, after some fine tuning on the street and pushing a few more psi we were getting +490whp on the Blitz, sometimes 500whp if we went leaner, but we wanted to keep everything safe because the car is stock internals, so we know its something around those numbers. We ran with 27psi on that run and they didnt let us do another one. I need to go to the dyno to check the exact numbers with the new tune. But I am more interested in track numbers than dyno numbers.

We removed the wing and the passenger side recaro, thats all! But next time we wont remove anything, its not that much of a difference. But its always good to remove some weight, not because we get better times, but because we dont want to break anything. The AEM was showing around 27psi, we wanted to go up to 28psi at least but they didnt let us run anymore.

We have seen the 50trims in action and those are amazing pump gas turbos, the GT3076R its almost identical powerband but has more potencial with race gas, we still havent pushed the GT30R to its limit and already we are very impressed. It depends if you are interested on 1/4 times or only want a quick spooling and fast car with pump gas. The GT30R also spools very fast and feels great with pump gas so you dont sacrifice as much as some people thinks, its not that much laggier, the midrange its incredible and top end its amazing for a turbo this size. I raced an STi that was doing 10.9 on the quarter mile with over 125mph with a GT35R and a lot more horsepower on monday and we were ahead in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear, but of course in the top end its were the GT35R shines and he passes us when we are in 4th gear, same thing happened every run. So which is better? it depends on what you want, but I see more potential on the GT30R for the quarter mile.
