The back of the bottle shows how it bumps the overall octane level depending on what you mix it with. It's cool.

The boost is increased.

93 oct was spiking 24psi and holding 22.

with the Torco it's spiking 28 and holding 25.

That makes more sense then. Did you see any counts of knock at 24psi on 93?

im good friends with benjy, they tuned it no knock as far as i can remember, and i must say if your a baller on a budget this is a great additive, $1.25 extra a gallon i believe benjy was saying, and just so everyone knows, just doing the AMS resonated testpipe bumpe HP from 395 to 400whp, pretty nice for a cat delete, i believe it dropped around 2tq however, obviously that was made up in the long run.

Considering gas is about $3.00 a gallon where I am that is crazy. It would be far cheaper to run meth in the long run.

A meth kit is quite expensive and I've heard horror stories about pump failures, etc. so I just decided to try something different.

The accelerator is cheaper making 104oct than 100oct is at the pump where you can find it around here.

I plan on building the car further in the future, so I figured I'd give the accelerator a shot and see how it performs. My future plans most likely include EMS in the future and then race/pump maps so I wouldn't be using meth, so for the amount oftime I plan on running it, I feel the accelerator will turn out to be cheaper than a meth setup.

I don't know the characteristics of the accelerator at all so I chose to get retuned to be safe. Going in I was thinking it would allow more timing which turned out to be untrue, and I don't have any datalogger to check for counts of knock. So I got a retune to be safe.

I don't see why you couldnt raise the boost with the product and no tuning, but I'm no expert and I would definitely want some sort of datalogging if I did that to make sure I wasn't destroying my motor or anything.

I've looked into getting this a while back, but never actually placed an order. Looking forward to when AMS gives it the stamp of approval

ahaha I sold my car before I knew the effects... But the kid did blow the motor a month later- had nothing to do with this though. He was a moron.

If you don't mind replacing plugs more often and somehow have an unlimited supply of 02 sensor's than go for it! lol It does boost power... But I just don't know still about how it might effect tuning and the AFR calibration/readings since it has been known to damage 02's.
