AMS VSR Stock Turbo Results

You guys asked for it so here it is. This is a stock turbo EVO VIII with Mods at the time of the test being:
AMS FMIC, UIP, alky kit, HKS 272s, 3"tbe, MR BOV, boost at 26psi, K&N cone filter, compeletely tuned at AMS

EDIT:

Now that the little dyno graph confusion is out of the way here are the CORRECT numbers done in the same gear.

You will not notice almost NO loss in spool!!! Pay attention to the HP and torque carried after 4k

Eric

I would love to see a graph on a stock turbo IX. That would make me jump on one. Ideal mods would be fuel pump, full 3" turbo-back exhaust, manual boost controller, and a flash/tuning. Then flip out the manifold for the VSR. I would like to see the difference.

Looks like the turbo spools about 600rpms slower. 3.5K and 4.1K for the VSR

I am REALLY leaning towards doing this on my car here. Maybe I can dip into my checkbook here and make something happen.

Would you expect a comparable difference with a ported stock intake manifold on stock turbo?

It already had a tune to make the most power for the mods it had before the VSR Manifold.

Definitely a noticeable improvement.

it does appear to spool slower. Is that from weather conditions or the manifold? It looks like it was relatively hot (85F) during the second dyno run, but I can't make out the temperature reading on the first pull. If it was considerably cooler, that would explain why the stocker outspooled the VSR.

Also looks like torque is down 60 at 3500. I wish it didn't loose so much down low.

Ported stock intake manifold for the win for the stock turbo.
