AMS 3076R Kit Evo IX Dyno Results.

I recieved the AMS 3076R about a month ago finnaly got the kit and supporting mods in and made it to the the Dyno today for a full day of tuning. Here are a list of the supporting mods on the car.

Car : 2006 Evo IX

AMS 3076R Kit
AMS TBE Test Pipe (resonated)
Precision 780cc injectors
HKS DLI II ignition amplifer
Denso Iridium Plugs ( one step colder gapped to 28)
ETS FMIC
Aquamist HFS-5 Meth/Alky Injection kit
Unothodox Adjustable Cam Gear (Exhaust Side)
Cosworth IX cams
ARP Headstuds
HKS EVC 6 Boost Controller
Innovate XD-16 Wide Band
Nisei UICP
Nisei Mini Battery Kit
Forge RS BOV
Exedy Twin HD Cerametallic

To start off the car is a total different animal then when I had my stock turbo with ported 02 housing, Tbe, Tune, ect.... The car pulls like a total bat out of hell the second you start to hit boost. Eric and everyone at AMS was nothing but helpfull with every question I had which was a ton and I could have not been happier with the quality of the Kit when it arrived.

Below I will post various pictures of the parts and car and also a dyno sheet.

Now for the Dyno sheet.

This is 91 octane PUMP GAS ONLY * NO METH*!!!!!!!
The car was holding great at 24psi with no knock what so ever with afr around 10.5-10.9. The car has alot of room left for more power but we ran out of time for tuning on the dyno and with the dyno housing reaching in excess of 100 degrees it was time to call it a day.

Keep in mind also this is in Colorado at 5600' above sea level like stated before on 91 octane and no meth. The reason for no injection at this time is I want to give myself time to get to know the car better with the new kit.

Sick! That is the turbo kit that I want, I just can't afford it right now.

Once you spray some meth in that thing, 500whp should be in your sights.

this is also the turbo kit I want as well.

I LOVE the 30R with a 4" shroud. I think its the ultimate turbo.

BTW the uncoated header just looks sick once heat gets to it.

Yeah once I feel confident with the car I will be adding a 50/50 of Meth/Alky into the car but we spent 3 solid 14 hour + days getting everything in the car ready for the dyno so thats why I am also holding back on the meth kit a bit

I was reaching full boost of 24-26 psi on the dyno close to 4650 but on the street it is hitting full boost all day long at about 4200 which feels great. You would really have to talk to Eric and the fella's at AMS about the 3071 because that is a bit out of my ball park... if you just want raw brutal power on the street and track the 3076 is perfect for you as you can see what the power level Justin my tuner and I achieved on it just imagine race gas in the mix it would be un real.

the 3076 is a bit bigger then the 3071 right??? or am i just confused here.

thats some great spoolup. i thought it was a bit laggyer. i may now switch from a 50trim to a 30r but i just hate lag man. lol.

I thought the 3071 was just a smaller version of the 3076 not to sure though.... Lag is not bad at all I really dont notice unless I am going 10mph in first and punch it... other then that it rails.

3071 is smaller and is suppose to spool about 400 rpms faster than 3076. But dam that thing spools pretty nice. 300tq by 4300 rpm

looks more like 300 buy 4700 rpm...

not to go OT but how would a 3071 spool up compared to a BB 50trim??
