NEW Product Release: AMS Lightweight Front cross member

Whether you are a drag racer, road racer or street tuner. Getting weight out of the front of the Evo is a MUST! This piece was originally designed for our race cars but can be used on any car, race or street alike. The AMS lightweight front cross member eliminates an astonishing 7lbs of weight from the front of the vehicle and allows for a solid front motor mount to maximize throttle and shift response.

This lightweight item even has provisions for The factory Tie bar and comes in a black powder coated finish.

Available soon from AMS!

Thank you

Yeah, I am pretty interested in how much this will cost too. Are they only Available in black, because silver or car colors would be cool.

Two questions:

Can the front of the car be jacked up from this like the original (if so, a small "jack pad" on the bottom would be good...)?

Can a version be made that takes a high durometer mount instead of a solid mount for those of use that aren't quite hardcore enough for a solid mount?

Thanks...I'll crawl back in my hole now!

This right now will only incorporate the solid mount.

There are no provissions for The undertray but it can still be mounted without the fasteners with no sag, the production model might have those fittings

This will work with the factory Tie bars!

This will be available very soon and it should be around $250.00

I will look into the possible jack point. Obviously weight savings is the number one priority with this piece.

Thie piece will save 6.6 pounds over the factory piece.
