Will this 23RR engine, with 10.0:1 compression handle a 35R/37R at 35-38 PSI boost on 93+ Meth and still survive daily driving ???


or in other words what will be the most power this motor can make given:

AMS 2.3RR block 10.0:1 compression
AMS ported head, HKS 280 cams
Buschur ported intake manifold and Throttlebody?
AMS GT35/37R turbo
AEM EMS
35-38 PSI boost
ALL SUPPORTING MODS
93 octane gas and 100% meth injection?

I would not run any car on a 35R at 35+psi of boost on 93 oct and methanol injection. My recommendation with proper tuning would be 28-30psi of boost max on a good meth inj. system.
I can't give you solid numbers because it depends on many things but if you are running 93 oct and meth I would stay with the 9.25:1 compression.

And yes this engine is compatible for a daily driver, no different than a built 2L or stroker 2.3L

So what about max boost with 93 octane only and either 9.25 or 10:1 compression?

I ran about 20-21psi on 93 octane on my motor, that was 9.5:1
For boost levels, I would keep the 9.25:1 under 22-23psi on a good tune on 93 octane, and I'd say keep it under 20psi on a 10:1 CR motor. Again tuning and other components will dictate what you can get away with.
