100 Octane Location?

Where's a good location to find some 100 octane near AMS? I am getting a tune soon and need to buy a few gallons. I asked a few friends and they suggested the 2 places I listed below but weren't for sure. I'm not from Chicago, so I have no idea if they are accurate or where to find them.

I've heard:
1) In Bensonville; across from a shop called Eurosport?
2) Warrenville / Butterfield (Rt. 56) & Rt. 59 / Gas City?

Any directions would be appreciated!

Lookup Gas City locations. A lot of them carry 100 octane. If you're driving up from St. Louis, there's a Gas City on Route 59 in Plainfield (exit I-55 to rte 59 N). If they carry it, it will probably be the best place to fill up, since you can just keep going on 59 North to get to AMS. There is also the Gas City in Oswego (my neck of the woods), which is slightly out of your way, but they also carry 100 octane.

Actually, on second reading, the Gas City in Warrenville will be your best bet. They're also on Route 59 and they're closer to AMS than the one in Plainfield.

Thanks, I've been mapping out several from the Gas City website. I found one near I-55 and Plainfield I think I'm going to try and hit:

Gas City 130
1300 Normantown Road
Romeoville, IL 60446

That's not really on the way to AMS. Which route are you taking to their shop?

Make sure you get tuned with the same gas you're going to use next week and next month. Buy it in St. Louis and bring it with you.

It's right off of I-55!

I'm not going directly there to the shop.

That would be nice, but I plan to buy gas at the track. I'm going to get tuned for 100; usually have 100 or 104 at all the tracks I visit.

Ah, in that case the one off I-55 will work.

You could stop by the Autobahn track it's about 5 minutes off of 55.

The 100 octane at a track and the 100 octane at a gas station would be extremely close. You should be fine.

i guess if you reeallly wanted to be safe, then fillup with 100 octane, drive around for a while and top it off with a gallon or two of 93...

I thought about that. It's more like 15min off of I-55 though, and if they would happen to let me in; I'd have to pay that annoying $5 entry fee. I only need a few gals (have some leftover from the track).
