Pretty simple to me. This car is going to be designed for very high speeds.

The paint should be peeling off the car with the workings of a jet engine being revealed where there is no more paint.

Ok so this is my take on a design. In looking at past AMS cars there has been some sort of Patriotic theme behind each of them whether it was based on something military or otherwise. So in keeping with the Patriotic theme as well as wanting something a bit more colorful than past AMS cars (since the magazines etc seem to like the bright flashy colorful cars since they print better) this is what I came up with. Obviously, I didn't add the gigantic wing that I'm sure you'll be using, or worry about the salt flat capped wheels. but you hopefully get the idea.

The design in post #47 is quite superb. It will be nice to remind people that you should be proud of your country, not of those who would have it undone.

if trying to stick with the plane theme...A-10 warthog, think Vietnam....

don't how how flat camo paint scheme represents stupid fast speeds but it would look unique...perhaps bambi would think its another hunter in a pick up truck

Oh man, this whole thread is a throwback to my childhood with my father working at NASA. X1, X15, SR-71, all pure eyecandy to me Now you're talking about some mean machinery with the mention of the warthog. Saw this from a vid of an a10 thunderbolt 2 and it made me laugh.

But wouldn't something like a "time attack" theme like from this poster of the SR-71seen in griceiv's post #24, utilizing a matte black like that from the time attack car with a contrasting but tastefully done red outline be completely menacing?
