Rain or shine!

The first AMS trackday this year was wet in the am. It was a blast and IMHO really helped drivers to figure out the track and their cars and still explore the limits and practice car controll at a lower speed. Then once it dried out, everyone was flyin!

Personally I love racing in the rain. And if it is wet in the AM, I will again explain the secrets of driving in the rain during our classroom session.

Then we'll see how close my AMS Evo IX gets to its time!

HSAX here? I'm in. I just have to finish getting all the pea gravel out of my car.

Im pretty sure it would be in everyone's best interest if you considered canceling or postponing this event. Pretty much the whole state of IL is massively flooded right now...

It doesn't work that way, just about any track gets their $$$ up front. Don't worry you won't melt and you may learn something about your car.

Not worried about the track conditions or my driving ability.

Im worried that the drive down to Joliet might be difficult if the roads are flooded...

AMS purchased a new yacht today....

This is the view right out our shop bay door.....

Another view in front of the shop. You can see our yacht to the lower right of the tree in the center of the picture.

This is the maiden voyage of the SS AMS with Arne and Greg.

This is right next to the building across from AMS.

The building across from us is flooded. The water will have to rise two more feet to flood our building.

The track day is still on guys.

Autobahn and most tracks will not close unless there is lighting as its unsafe for the corner workers.

At this point they are calling for showers most of the day with a decent chance for it to clear up by mid afternoon. Showers = we run.
