Chad knows best so if he says no, I would listen

The factory hoses are not BAD but they have a much lower burst limit compared to these 4 ply silicone counter parts. Also these will age much better.

Yes you should still wrap the upper hose. They will be more tolerant of heat but some tubular manifolds out there get really close to the radiator hose so it is still a good idea to wrap it.

Hey quick question dan, i have an evo 8 with stock evo 9 dv on stock intake pipe.

Well im using the ams UICP and i went to autozone to find a random hose to contect the uicp to the evo 9 dv.

Would u guys be intersted in making me a hose that connects from the ams uicp to the dv??

I would like it to be similar to these radiator hoses.

Heres a pic of the engine bay and the hose i would like to get made for my car

Im all about clean engine bays and im starting little by little.

(yes i know the dv is the wrong way, it was just a quick fit)

cuz i want to buy the ams radiator hoses and i think making this hose would be a nice addition to my ams parts on my car

Also it would give an option to those who by the ams uicp instead of running into the same problem i did when installing my ams uicp.
It really sucked having to find a hose to fit on the uicp. also the ugly hose hides some of the craftman ship of the uicp
My parts list so far

Ams UICP
Ams LICP
Ams Small battery
Ams Fuel rail
Ams Lower clutch line
Ams upper clutch line
Ams trunk badge
Ams spark plug cover
