AMS GT-R Breaks MPH record....still on pump gas!!!
Well it wasn't by much but we did it and still on pump gas ( 93 oct ).
New MPH world record of 134.30mph and we also bettered our pump gas ET record with a 10.48.
Both on the same run.
The old record was a 134.230 and was done on C16 race gas, no exhaust and with more mods on their car than we have on ours.
There is a litte more left in this car as it sits. We cut a 1.65 60ft. I think we can do better on a cooler dryer day.
AMS is almost finished with their intercooler upgrade which will go on the car soon and there is a little left on the table for a more aggressive tune without/before going to race gas.
AMS did an awesome job on this car and believe me it is a sweet DD with a somewhat conservative tune.

Hahaha thanks... yeah sometimes the new LC is a pain to rev up!
It was actually a friend of mines 98 GSX- T67 automatic.
He messed up his launch and is using nitrous to spool up the turbo.
Car went 10.43 that night @ 133- keeps breaking up in 3rd and 4th.... car has nines in it for sure.
