I like how you made the equal length runners work no matter the constraints on space. I'm assuming the factory runners weren't equal length, how will it change the tone of the engine at WOT? Is it always best to have an equal length header design even if you have to use somewhat tighter curves?

I love how this is all coming together, hopefully the original GTR up here in Rochester will get something similar so I can inspect it up close.

Ah ha thanks for pointing that out to me.

On a side note I took a ride in a stock GT-R tonight and it was something else...

I have seen a lot of turbo kits in my day but I think this one is officially the coolest kit ever! These heat shields look like something out of Transformers or TRON!

Below are some more updated pictures of the turbo kit with the prototype heat shields. The production shields will not have rivets and will be welded up. This is just a sample.
Also notice the very strong but OEM like integrated turbo support bracket.

Keep in mind the turbo is just a mock up turbo so you will not see any wheels in it

I love this kit!

This is so awesome!

You guys should Swain White Lightning coat the manifolds and then line the inside of the shields in gold!!! That would be the ultimate in heat control!!!

So awesome regardless!

Those heat sheild pics really give you a sense of how little room there will be for this kit once it's completed.

I know you guys stated that the manifold runners were equal length, but are both manifolds equal in length to each other? Meaning do all 6 cylinders have equal lengths or is it equal length per bank?

Ridiculous job AMS! +1 for one of the best tuners in the world! At this point the term "tuner" would seem condescending...you guys should definately put engineering somewhere in your company name!
